For the 35th year in a row, Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families is hosting one of the most fun events in Little Rock. Our Soup Sunday committee is hard at work planning all sorts of new things for this celebration, and we hope you’ll join the fun. Skip lunch and come hungry so you can sample some of the best soups in town, generously donated by 35 area restaurants. including whatever VIP chef Tim Morton (from Cache Restaurant) serves in the VIP room.
Not only is Soup Sunday a blast, it’s the perfect event for people and families who love soup, assortments of breads and desserts, good causes, casual atmospheres, fantastic music, silent auctions, and the company of THE nicest people around. For the first time, we’ll have a live auction led by Craig O’Neill. Our Soup Sunday committee is out of control, already having secured 7 nights in this 5 bedroom/5 bath home in Costa Rica as one of our live auction items.
Adult tickets are $25 in advance – $30 after 5 p.m. on Friday, January 29th. VIP tickets are $50 each. Tickets for children 5-17 are $10 and children younger than 5 are FREE! VIP tickets gain you access to the VIP room, where VIP chef Tim Morton will prepare a specialty soup that will not be available in the main ballroom. There will also be VIP room desserts provided by Ristorante Capeo and Lepops, and complimentary beer and wine. And of course, you don’t have to stay in the VIP room. VIP ticket holders also have access to the main ballroom where the rest of the soups, the Big John Miller Band, and the live and silent auctions will be.
