Summit on the Future of the State Budget

The budget is our state’s most important policy document. It reflects what we prioritize as a state. In the coming legislative session, policymakers will have to answer some tough questions about the direction of Arkansas’s budget. Join us as we bring together legislators, policy experts, advocates, and service providers to discuss what’s at stake for our state’s budget in the 2017 session and beyond.

The agenda will include:
A legislative panel discussion on The Future of the State Budget
Panel discussion: The Human Cost of an Underfunded State Budget
Keynote Speaker TBD: Lessons from Other States

A light breakfast will be served. There is no cost to attend, but participants must register.
