- Health Policy Analyst
CaSandra Glover joined AACF as the Health Policy Fellow in April 2021. Before joining AACF, CaSandra served as a child and family specialist within Los Angeles County, CA, where she assisted with the provision of both clinical treatment and wrap-around services for youth in foster care. In this role, she advocated for clients impacted by the child welfare and criminal justice systems. CaSandra also served as a mental health fellow through Mental Health America Los Angeles and as a graduate research assistant at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
CaSandra earned her BA in Psychology from Georgia State University and her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Management and Community Practice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. CaSandra is a native of Riverside, California, and has resided in Arkansas for three years. Outside of pushing for social justice and equity, CaSandra’s time is centered on being a mother to her 3-year-old son, Derrick.
