Health Policy Director

Loretta Alexander joined AACF as the Health Policy Director in November 2018. Loretta has extensive experience in the health care industry, ranging from program administration and evaluation to health policy research. She has served as a research associate, traumatic brain injury program coordinator, director of a comprehensive child development research demonstration project and Medicaid consultant/coordinator for the Arkansas Governor’s Indigent Healthcare Advisory Council. Loretta has a BA in Biology from Henderson State University and a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She completed a post graduate fellowship in hospital administration at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. Loretta’s community activities include Friends and Families of Care Facility Residents, Conway Human Development Center Parent Association, Global Ties Arkansas, Arkansas Birthing Project, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
