Holy minestrone! Soup season is fast approaching – and with it, one of Central Arkansas’s most beloved events. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the 40th annual Soup Sunday on February 21, 2021!
It’s easy to see why everyone loves this casual, family-friendly, “souper” fun event. A normal year brings more than 1,000 soup lovers together to knock back delicious soups, breads and desserts from Central Arkansas’s favorite restaurants, and this year we’re going virtual! We’ve got the list of restaurants and their special offers started, and we can’t wait to see what this year’s 40-year participating restaurants, Dave’s Place and The Faded Rose, are spooning up for our guests!
Our online auction will please even the most discriminating of shoppers. Event chair Sidney Leasure invites you to order from your favorite Soup Sunday restaurants and try all the specials. You may even want to grab your muffin tin (“Um…what?” Don’t worry, here’s an explainer) and try all the soup specials at one time, in the comfort of your own home.
Best of all, there’s no more important cause: the future of Arkansas’s kids. Proceeds benefit AACF’s work to ensure that all children have the resources and opportunities they need to lead healthy, productive lives and to reach their full potential.
Tickets are available for purchase here. Individual tickets are $35. Round up to $40 per person to celebrate our 40th Anniversary Soup Sunday! Patron tickets are $60 per person.
All tickets include Special Offers from participating Central AR Restaurants. We’ll send you a complete list closer to the event! We’re also planning a soup-themed delivery and drive-in movie, if community health concerns allow for these in-person, low-contact options.
We’d love to have you join us as a sponsor! Businesses, organizations, families, and individuals can sponsor Soup Sunday – and so can you! Here are the sponsorship levels. Email Fran Carter at email@example.com or call 501-371-9678, ext. 107 for more information.
THANK YOU to our Little Rock 2021 Soup Sunday committee:
