Liz Choate joined Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families in 2025, bringing with her a strong background in healthcare and a deep commitment to serving others. She previously worked as a registered nurse at the Psychiatric Research Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she developed a passion for supporting individuals and families navigating complex challenges.
In addition to her nursing degree, Liz holds a degree in anthropology from the University of Arkansas. Her professional experience also includes work in marketing, events, and recruiting, and she believes deeply in the power of community engagement.
Liz serves as an active board member for a local nonprofit dedicated to the literary arts in Central Arkansas and is a committed volunteer in local public schools. She lives in Little Rock with her husband and two sons.
